In recent years, social football sports in MianYang have achieved the rapid development with the improvement of the level of economic income, which adapted the requirements of the "national fitness program" and promoted the mass physical fitness. However, there are still some problems in MianYang social football activities, which restricted the development of social football in MianYang. Based on this background, it is of great significance to study the development of social football in MianYang.This study analyzed the MianYang social football from the basic situation of social football team, social football games and social football games accident injury and insurance situation, etc. by using of literature research, questionnaire and other methods.After the research, the following conclusions are drawn:Firstly, the age of social soccer players in MianYang are 20 to 40 years old, and have certain economic ability; the motivation of participation mainly include physical fitness, meet the social communication, and other various motives. The social football team comes from relatives and friends, colleagues,etc.. Social football field is not fixed,and funds are generally, there is no professional full-time coach. The government is the main organization of social football match; the nature of the game is competitive and interesting, the masses have higher recognition to the social football; the occurrence of accidental injury is less and relatively minor. Most of the participants have insurance;professional referees are less.Secondly, the existing problems in the social football in MianYang include the shortage of funds, the imbalance of regional development, and the low utilization rate of space resources. These problems are related to the level of economic development, but also with some of the leadership of social football awareness and attention. In addition,emphasize the interests of the Department is also a major reason.Thirdly, some suggestion is proposed for the future development of social football in MianYang, include enrich the sources of funding, and actively enhance the social football, to make up for lack of funds, to enhance the level of government departments of social football, and improve the masses of social football wrong cognition; in addition, the need to integrate existing resources, and to meet the needs of social football.
