| In the reform of PE curriculum, the most critical is to reform the PE curriculum content. At present, there are few research about the PE curriculum content by scholars, let alone the investigation for that in middle and high schools. The PE curriculum content is not only the fundamental basis that teachers and students must follow when the carry out teaching activities, but also the most effective means to achieve the goal of physical education. Research on the status of arrangement for PE curriculum content in middle and high schools. PE curriculum content can promote the PE curriculum reform and has important significance on the implementation of The New Standard.This paper studies the current PE content in the middle and high schools in Dujiangyan. According to the investigation on physical education curriculum contents among teachers and students, it is demonstrated that there are some problems on the contents of PE curriculum. Then they have to be analyzed and summarized. Some solutions have been found to solve the problem, and strive to provide a theoretical basis for the junior-high school physical education content reform.The paper proposes some methods of research including document research, questionnaire, expert interviews, mathematical statistics and logical analysis and other research methods, taking PE teachers and students as research subjects. The questionnaires are developed for PE teachers and students in the middle and high schools in Dujiangyan, mainly focused on 106 PE teachers and 1893 students in 28 middle and high schools in Dujiangyan. Through the analysis of the survey results, the conclusions are as follows:(1) Provision of PE teaching staff is uneven among the middle and high schools in Dujiangyan.(2) Arrangement for PE content do not suit for students and meet the need of the society.(3) PE teachers do not focus on the teaching of PE theory and knowledge of health.(4) The schools need to strengthen the implementation of New Standard.Suggestions:(1) To strengthen the configuration and training for PE teachers and improve their professional skills.(2) Student-centered, add add items which are interested by students to the teaching content, and ensure an all-around development.(3) To enhance the development and transformation of PE curriculum contents, and rich the teaching content of PE.(4) To improve sports equipment and facilities, and to ensure the implementation of sports teaching content... |
