| This paper takes Thailand as the research object.Through studying and combing the historical materials and literature of Thailand,so it determines to study the dilemma of democratic consolidation in Thailand.This paper starts from sorting out the concept of democratic consolidation and analyzes the factors that influence the consolidation of democracy.This paper study the Thailand’s democratic consolidation from the differentiation of the political power,social division and traditional culture.Finally it comes to the conclusion: Thailand’s democratic consolidation dilemma is caused by many factors,so we should use a comprehensive perspective to observe democratic consolidation in Thailand.At the end of the thesis,the universal factors influencing the predicament of national democratic consolidation are extracted: region,religious,colonial and other cultural and traditional factors;Urbanization,living standards,income gap and other socio-economic factors;Political and cultural factors such as people’s satisfaction and expectation;The social division structure caused by social class and income inequality;Democracy demonstration effect and other international factors. |
