| The C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group is focused on tackling climate change and driving urban action that reduces greenhouse gas emissions and climate risks,while increasing the health,well-being and economic opportunities of urban citizens.Through combing the relevant knowledge of C40,studying the forming power,developing history and operating mechanism of C40,combining with practical cases,and exploring the role of C40 in global climate governance,the author analyses its shortcomings in the process of participating in global climate governance.In view of the shortcomings,the paper puts forward some countermeasures to guide its own development and improvement,and further expands the policy space and governance space for the city to participate in global governance,which plays an important role in the research of global governance. |
