The judgment of “The case of Google’s v.Gonzales’ s right to be forgotten” formally established the legal concept of the right to be forgotten as a right to protect personal information in the field of internet.The right to be forgotten is important to the protection of personal information in the era of big data.effect.China’s research on the right to be forgotten is a relatively late start,and we should learn from the legislative experience of the right to be forgotten in Europe,America,and other countries,regions,and organizations and localize the right to be forgotten.This article analyzes and contrasts the first case of China’s right to be forgotten,“Anya Yuyu v.Beijing Baidu Company Case” and “Google V.Gonzales Case”,and leads to the reasons for the right to be forgotten,which is related to the protection of the European Union and personal information.The study of law sums up the concept of the right to be forgotten.By analyzing the relationship between the right to be forgotten and the rights of privacy,deletion,and personal information,it is demonstrated that the right to forget is a power of personal information.Based on the analysis and comparison of legislation on the right to amnesty in Europe and the United States,this article elaborates the status of the protection of the right to be forgotten in China,analyzes the challenges and problems faced in the protection of personal information in China,and shows that the establishment of rights to be forgotten protects personal information in China.It is necessary,and discusses the protection standards for the right to be forgotten in China and the right to request for protection of the right to be forgotten.
