A Study On The Participation Ability Of Rural Women In Sichuan And Tibet In Ecological Poverty Alleviation

The ecological poverty alleviation is the inevitable choice of targeted poverty alleviation in the main functional areas.The Sichuan Tibetan region is the second largest Tibetan region in China,which not only belongs to the main functional areas,but also the main component of linked poor areas.Ecological poverty alleviation is the important form of anti-poverty in the Sichuan Tibetan region.Strengthening the supply ability on ecological products is the main task,and important anti-poverty strategy in the Sichuan Tibetan region.According to ecological feminism,woman is closer to the nature compared with man.In the reality,because of the division of labor in society,woman is the basic main body to directly use the nature and the ecological products.So woman is more familiar and more dependent on the nature.This study aimed to comprehend the current situation and the significance of woman's ability to join the ecological poverty alleviation projects in the Sichuan Tibetan region from gender perspective.This study choose Songpan to carry out empirical research.Sorted out the current situation of woman's ability to join the ecological poverty alleviation projects from four part: ecological construction,ecological tourism,ecological agriculture and animal husbandry and ecological compensation,etc.using case study method,this paper develops a Gender analysis of intra-household labor division,gender needs,and resource control.Then,summarized the constraints that rural woman in the Sichuan Tibetan region may facing,in the process of joining the ecological poverty alleviation projects.Respectively are individual,family,community,system.Finally,proposed that,strengthening the gender sensitivity of projects,guiding rural woman in Sichuan Tibetan areas to use ecological resources,satisfying woman's dual demands,weaken the the traditional concept on rural woman in Sichuan Tibetan areas.
