| Colors and patterns not only constitute the basic elements of Jianhe Miao tin embroidery and red embroidered patterns as well as a symbol mark. The colors and patterns of red embroidery and tin embroidery make it equip with the external form of symbol mark. Also, patterned color combinations and patterns build its deep cultural connotations.The paper applies the theory of symbolic anthropology to study on systematic meaning of Jianhe Miao nationality red embroidery and tin embroidery, trying to make in-depth explanation of symbolic forms and symbolic significance for embroidery culture. It analyzes craftsmanship, color system and embroidered patterns of Jianhe Miao red embroidery and tin embroidery as well as its symbolic significance and reflected content and expressed Miao cultural information.Thesis contains three parts: introduction, body part and conclusion. Introduction includes research origins and significance, research review, research theory and method, fields and chapters arrangements. The first chapter is to explain the background, discussing history and living environment of Jianhe County Miao nationality as well as its basic cultural overview of red embroidery and tin embroidery.From the second chapter to the fourth chapter, it presents a progressive process. That is, from the production process of red embroidery and tin embroidery to its embroidery function, then expanding to specific composition analysis of the color and pattern, including color matching patterns and structure, characteristics, rules and other sources. Chapter IV gives the interpretations as it regarded as origin of symbols,color and pattern symbol. The conclusion is cultural study on the red embroidery, tin embroidered pattern, including historical memory, beliefs and worship and aesthetic emotion of Jianhe Miao, as well as analyze its inheritance and development. Finally,the Jianhe red embroidery and tin embroidery pattern is seen as a symbol. Its colors and patterns are regarded as carrier of symbols and its deep implication behind is the reflected content of symbol which is also a kind of cultural information delivered by a symbol of pattern. |
