Public Opinion Space: The Integration Path Of Rural Public Goods Supply And Demand

Rural public goods is the basic condition and important foundation of rural development and construction,and it is also an important way to realize rural public interests.The supply of rural public goods is related to the rural development and the construction of socialist harmonious society of our country.There are many different ways of supplying public goods.In terms of the rural public goods in our country,due to the specific and historical reasons,the supply of rural public goods of our country is mainly from the government.Government supply is a kind of supply from the top to the bottom,it is mainly based on the government’s financial ability and political demands,which in the long run leads to the problem that “what is supplied is not required and what we get is not the one we need”.Therefore,only by solving the problem between supply and demand of rural public goods can we promote the development and construction of rural society.But with the development of economic and society in our country,rural areas,which is in the process of modernization,is experiencing a structural transformation from tradition to modern and close to open.On the one hand,the demand of public goods in rural areas has changed and shows a trend of diversified development,On the other hand,stratum differentiation,differentiation of economic interests,differentiation of political demands exist in the process of transformation of rural social structure.The long time government supply and the changes occurred in rural areas have increased the contradiction between supply and demand of rural public goods to a certain extent.Therefore,the integration of supply and demand of rural public goods is essential to realize the effective supply of rural public goods.Through researching on rural governance,we find that the integration of rural demand preference and government supply needs to be realized in a certain space.In this space,peasants can express their preferences and get together to show their preferences to providers and the suppliers should make instant feedback.By using this certain space,peasants can not only express their preferences but also supervise the suppliers.The space can help building the public character and realizing the integration of supply and demand.We call it Rural Public Opinion Space.So we need to construct a rural public opinion space to realize the integration of supply and demand of rural public goods.
