Interpretation And Re-creation Of Wang Shuo's "Xi Jing Six Scenes Atlas"

Wang hui is one of the most representative painters of Qing dynasty,he had a great reputation in the early of Qing dynasty and promoted the development of the Qing dynasty’s landscape paintings.Wang hui’s landscape paintings are combinations of the techniques which are drawing marks by Chinese ink of the great painters in all ages,its had a profound influence on the later generations and creates a beautiful and elegant style.This article selects the vivid and delicate albums of the pictures of six scenes in Xi Pi by Wang hui,trying to understand the characteristics of the drawing marks by Chinese ink of Wang hui’s landscape paintings,how to manage the organizations of gully,mountains and rivers,how to use the writing brush to outline the loose,wind,bamboo and stone,and the expression of the artistic conception.The pictures need to convey a fascinating artistic conception,the part of Wang hui’s landscape paintings are also possessed of the feelings of literati paintings and I hope to join in the literati artistic conception in my works,created to the poetic landscape paintings.
