With the explosive development of the media,we have officially entered the new media era.In this context,fan culture is going through series of dramatic changes that differentiate itself from the fan culture in the traditional media context.As the main factor that dictates the current pop culture as well as the mass media and the visual applications,the fan base is constantly flooding the mainstream,and its cultural attributes are impossible to be ignored.New media era provides easy-to-use image-generating tools for the fans,creating further possibilities to participate and communicate.The visual as a means has become the main tool for fans to interact.As the active users of the new media technology,enthusiasts become the most dynamic groups in the digital network,creating visualized activities that draw attention from every social level.In this constantly involving visual medium,social platform and we media such as Weibo and Tieba break the time and space,connect online and offline through the means of Top Search,Go Live,and Bullet screen etc.,fan phenomenon is in our daily life.Culture is manifested in a variety of symbols.Images,object,color,text,sound,etc.,all are the symbols of culture.A symbol is to convey meaning,specific cultural symbols meant to express the appearance and the connotation of the meanings,fan culture is no exception.Under the positive leadership,the explorations on the visual of fan culture become a further exploration of the social research.To study the visuals of the fan culture,to explore why and how to produce,construct and maintain the visual symbols of idols.This paper summarizes the cultural characteristics and explores the visual logic and language behind this social phenomenon in order to provide more possibilities for visual design.
