Emotional Narrative In Late German Gothic Sculpture

Through the research and analysis of the late German Gothic sculpture,this paper puts forward the interesting phenomenon of emotional narrative.Taking this as an example,the author tries to go back to the background of the times at that time to interpretthe deep causes and social needs of the formation of art language,and tries to rethink the attitude and methods of reference through in-depth research at the specific production level.This article is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction to the origin ofthe problem and the origin of the topic,and analyzes the current situation of the research on the late German Gothic sculpture,and combines various research methods to achieve as much as possible macroscopic and objective analysis and argumentation.The second part,the classification of sculpture,and through the selection of representative themes of the sculpture analysis.In the fourth part,the author points out the limitation of Dana analysis method,and analyzes the expression of emotion in the late German Goth sculpture from the perspective of the practitioner as a student of sculpture,through what kind of specific artistic techniques are realized and effectively implemented.Finally,it expounds the way of realizing narrative function,its influence on later generations,and the author's thinking on how to draw lessons from it.
