| With the rise of China’s international status,Chinese fever has swept the world.The number of people that learning Chinese is increasing year by year.Modal particle is an extremely special existence in Chinese vocabulary and it also play an important role in Chinese communication.It is difficult to distinguish the meaning of the word.In the analysis,it is necessary to put the modal particle into the whole sentence in order to find the meaning and function of it.The special feature make it to be a difficult point not only in Chinese vocabulary teaching but also the Chinese vocabulary learning.In this paper,I have collected the sentences above the modal particle from the text of the Chinese textbook "universal Chinese".Under the system functional framework,I analysis the four modal particle from the aspect of interpersonal function,in order to find the usage and significance of them,except that I will summarized the classification.I hope to be able to design a feasible teaching plan.This paper is divided into five chapters: the first chapter is introduction.I will introduce from these aspects,the research significance,purpose,modal particles and Chinese modal particle used framework,research methods,research status,principles and corpus sources.The second chapter analyzes the semantic meaning of "a,ba,ne,ma" from the aspect of interpersonal function.The word "a" means that the speaker clearly informs the listener of what he or she is going to say,and asks the listener to respond to it.The word "ba" means that the speaker makes a weak inference to the statement,asking the listener to confirm the inference.The word "ne" means that the speaker indicates a certain point in the presupposition shared by both parties and reminds the listener of the common presupposition.The word "ma" is an expression of doubt and often appears at the end of a sentence and cannot be replaced by "ne".The third chapter analysis the questionnaires and points out difficulties of teaching design,curriculum design,the students’ learning and puts forward some corresponding thinking.In the fourth chapter,put forward some teaching designs.Chapter v conclusion.I hope to provide a little help to the teaching and learning for foreign students. |
