Zha Shibiao,One of the Four Masters of Xin'an(Xin'an School),was an outstanding landscape painter during the late Ming and early Qing periods.He specialized in painting.His works have been called "ease painting",but he is not willing to write or draw easily during his creative career.His landscapes were more influenced by Ni Zan,Dong Ju,Mi Fu and his Son,the four artists of Yuan Dynasty,ShenZhou,Dong Qichang and other masters.After the establishment of the Qing Dynasty,he moved to Yangzhou with his family and specialized in calligraphy and painting.As a calligrapher he was influenced by Dong Qichang during this period.Zha Shibiao composed many poems,including his lost "shu shen tang shi" and remaining the third volume of "Zhong shu tang's posthumous manuscript",second volume of "Zhong shu tang's poems for paintings" and 54 volumes of "Collection of poetry in Qing Dynasty".After input of five volume of "Zhong shu tang's posthumous manuscript" and "Zhong shu tang's poems for paintings",the author added the sixth volume of "literature collation" and the seventh volume of "Mei's preface and postscript in the Painting and Calligraphy"(Mao Xiaoqing trimming "The Collection of Zha Shibiao",Zhejiang people's Fine Arts Publishing House).In "Zhong shu tang's posthumous manuscript"and "Zhong shu tang's poems for paintings",previous researchers found a few excerpts from the poems created by Wang Wei and Wei Tai.Master Zha Shibiao did not leave any poem anthology,more sadly,all of his posthumous manuscripts had been stolen during his beravement,the emergence of "Zhong shu tang's posthumous manuscript"and "Zhong shu tang's poems for paintings" mainly owe to his relatives' and friends' work of collecting and editing."Zhong shu tang's posthumous manuscript",written the preface by Song Luo,Huang Kui and Zeng Lan,includes three volumes,and 74 poems collected by Jin Zhijin and Zha Shibiao's nephew Zha Hongdao in the first volume,102 seven-character poems collected by He Wenhuang and Zha Shibiao's another nephew Zha Zongji in the second volume,50 quatrains collected by Jin Zhijin and Zha Shibiao's nephew Zha Hongdao in the third volume."Zhong shu tang's poems for paintings" has been divided into volume? and volume?,47 five-character quatrains collected in the volume ? and seven-character quatrains collected in the volume?;the volume six of "literature collation" collected 27 poems;the volume seven of "Mei's preface and postscript in the Painting and Calligraphy"collected 48 poems.The paper takes the seven volumes as the main object of study,through annotation in detail,to analyze Zha Shibiao's painting aesthetic thoughts,social activities and poetry artistic features,and then to study Zha Shibiao in-depth.This paper includes the following parts:the introduction,which mainly introduce the purpose,significance and research review of this paper,and will expound the innovation,research ideas and research methods;the first chapter will introduce Zha Shibiao's social background,his poem and painting features and drawing mentoring relationship and influence;the second chapter to fourth chapter will attach the text and annotation of "Zhong shu tang's posthumous manuscript","Zhong shu tang's poems for paintings","literature collation" and "Mei's preface and postscript in the Painting and Calligraphy".
