The Novel "Frankenstein In Baghdad" Describes The Focus Of Research

Ahmad Sadavi is an outstanding young fiction writer in Iraq and in the Arab world.He experienced the Iraq war and created lots of literary works.The novel "Frankenstein in Baghdad" won the Arab Fiction International Award(Arabic Booker Prize)in 2014.The novel features a scavengers in the Bataventura district of Baghdad.The novel starts with a bombing incident.A man collects human remains from explosion corners and puts a complete body with them.After that,a wandering soul enters the body and resurrects it and the body has the power of immortality.With this,the immortal monster begins to revenge for the people who form his own organs.In the novel "Frankenstein in Baghdad",Ahmed Sadaway used different narrative focuses and expressed different themes of the novel.In the theory of narrative perspective of narratology,this paper analyses of the novel from the perspectives of zero focus,inner focus and outer focus.The paper is divided into four parts: introduction,text,conclusion and reference.The introduction briefly describes the general situation of the study of writers,works and theories,and explains the significance of the research.The text is divided into four chapters.The first chapter analyzes the characteristics and effects of the zero-focus narration.The second chapter analyzes the characteristics of the inner-focused narration and the fixation of the inner focusing perspective.The effects of intra-focusing,infinitive intra-focusing,and multi-intra-focusing are discussed.The third chapter analyzes the characteristics and effects of out-focusing narration in novels.Chapter 4 analyzes the focus of novels and the construction of works.Relationships and the central idea that the author wants to convey to readers.In this paper,through the interpretation of the narrative focus of "Frankenstein in Baghdad",we try to find out the thought of Iraqi society and the promotion of humanitarianism from a new perspective.We can understand this novel much better.
