Virtue is an imortant thought in the history of Western ethics.It has a long history.MacIntyre’s historical method exlains his virtue thought and constructs a unique virtue ethic.The main connotation of MacIntyre’s ethics of virtue actually mainly refers to the concet of virtue,which includes the following imortant concets: narrative,virtue,community life,common good.The remise and inner meaning of the three stages of the concet of virtue are community life,narrative concet and common good thought.In the ursuit of virtue,narration is a kind of moral narrative,which is also closely related to the three-stage theory of virtue concet.MacIntyre alied the theory of community life to the construction of the concet of virtue.It consists mainly of general social life and religious social life.From MacIntyre’s exlanation of the relationshi between ersonal morality and social common morality,the remise of ersonal virtue life is to have social grou life,otherwise virtue can not be considered as human quality.Good is still an imortant concet of MacIntyre’s moral ethics,and he thinks that the common good is the end of the moral life.ractice and tradition need to be exlained by virtue.MacIntyre’s ethics of virtue have imortant theoretical significance,such as enriching the concet of virtue and solving the roblem of moral philosohy and so on.
