The research on the design of the old lane brand in Nanjing,which is the study of the visual transmission of the name of the old lane in Nanjing.Each of the old alley has a marked Lane card,each lane is the ancient place names,hiding the moving historical and cultural stories,causing us to think about the cultural history.Now with the city development,many of the old alley has fundamentally changed,ancient past slowly away from us.On behalf of the local color of the old lane in Nanjing is also facing a serious lack of cultural issues.In this paper,from the visual angle of Nanjing old lane brand history and culture,visual design(including color design and font design)to research and explore,through the case of horizontal and vertical comparative analysis,history,culture and visual features behind the back lane brand,so it will be as a research topic,creative try to design the old lane brand font,which arose the masses of Nanjing old and old alley Lane brand re-examine and attention,let those forgotten local history and pop culture to get attention and arouse people's emotional resonance.
