Japan's defeat in the W orld War ? had brought huge psychological blow and mental trauma to all the dom estic Japanese in the curren t,the original intrinsic values was greatly im pacted,their idols and heroes had been despised,or had becom e war criminals now.In this period of chaos an d confusion,spiritual em ptiness,social disorder,disillusionment and desperate though ts were spreading during the Japanese.And also in such turmoil time,the literature works of the Buraiha writers who captured the mental confusion of the era keenly,conjectured the literary proposition of “the defeat” and “the post-war” deeply which contained the social cultural psychology depth were welcomed.Sakaguchi Ango's experience of literary creation is abundant as one of the representative writers of Buraiha,he has lots of works including novels and comme nts that their contents are all profound,<Bungaku no furusato>?<Nihon bungaku shikan>?<Danrakuron> and <Zoku danrakuron> are his re presentative comments.In this thesis,I will explore Sakaguchi Ango's literary thought through analyzing the texts of the four comments before and after the World War ?.,Sakaguchi Ango pointed out that unable rescue is the only way to help humanity away from the human loneliness and pain in the comment of <Bungaku no furusato>,in view of the “Japanese sp irit”and “Japanese tradition”that prevailed in the prewar,Sakaguchi Ango attacked it with an unique way by the keynote of Japanese cu lture in the <Ni hon bungaku shikan>.In the <Danrakuron> and <Zoku danrakuron>,Sakaguchi Ango ch anged his m ild expression,stated that degeneration is the necessity of human nature bluntly,he criticized Japanese current state in the postwar directly and criticized the traditional morality and ethics,avoiding that the ruling class made use of the "traditional culture" to achieve their ambitions.
