On The Creativity Of Opera Actors

"Performing as the center" is an important principle of the art in Xiqu(the traditional Chinese opera).Since the formation,it has undergone numerous creation and re-creation.In this course,actors had taken a great deal of creative work;the release and application of their creativity effectively promoted the prosperity and development of Xiqu.Creativity is an important ability that Xiqu actors must have.From the perspective of performance,this article illustrates,how good works are created by artists,and how actors should activate their own creativity as well as the importance of it to the development of Xiqu.Through the discussion on these issues,this paper aims to make actors recognize their historical status and the important mission they take.Performers should adhere to the principle "performance as the center" and make an in-depth understanding of the distinctive rules of Xiqu art.In the new mode of "Collaboration between the actor and the director",actors should develop the due creativity so as to create brilliant artistic works in collaboration with other branches involved in the process of creativity.
