The subject matter is one of the elements of the painting,which refers to the object depicted in the painting and the meaning conveyed by the works.It is the reflection of the artist through the observation,selection and refinement of the objective world.The conception and creation process of the work revolves around the theme.This paper will focus on "how to keep the permanent vitality of the work when facing the same subject matter".Among them,the animal theme of the rabbit as a clue.Through tracing and case of this traditional auspicious culture study,from which to explore the reference.The history of human depiction and recording of animals is very long.As one of the twelve animals,the rabbit is endowed with rich cultural symbols.Chinese and foreign legends of the moon,are a resident of a rabbit,"the middle of the rabbit," the record in China,India myths and legends have."Chu.Heaven" cloud: "he is dead and luminous,yo? Levi and Gu Jue,a tiger in the abdomen?" The Han Dynasty;Mawangdui silk painting is painted with curved mid rabbit;in Buddhist stories,you can find traces in the grotto murals in rabbit.There are various periods of history with rabbit related paintings,such as Cui Bai of the Song Dynasty,the Ming Dynasty "Double Happiness map" road map "," Eagle seized the rabbit in the Qing Dynasty "Indus double cold pieces of rabbit",based on the analysis of the work content,form and charm,so as to master certain artistic laws,in order to possibility looking for a new painting language with the spirit of the times,from the traditional aesthetic.The history of the literature on the rabbit is still more,so it is not difficult to trace the origin of each period there are related works retained for me to sort out its artistic context provides a considerable condition.
