Memorials to the throne serve the state in the age of monarchy.The memorials to the throne owned different stytles in the mid-and late Eastern Han Dynasty.So,the later periods of Eastern Han Dynasty occupies an important position in the history of memorials to the throne.Han Dynasty is on a downhill path in the later periods.The clan of the consorts and eunuchs ravaged and endangered the people of country.The literati who had hight morale and aspiration to save the nation.With their knowledge,they have produced a large number of outstanding works that are full of content,well-written,and characterized by individuality.This paper is based on the text,combine the era background,the authors experience,such as historical facts.On the basis of mastering the content,the work of the whole period is analyzed so deeply to summarize the literatures of their memorials to the throne.The introduction mainly discusses three problems.firstly,the purpose and significance of choosing this topic,which will identify scope of the research.Secondly,the present situation and insufficient of this research.Thirdly,to determine the contents and methods of this paper.The first chapter includes the introduction of memorials to the throne which from West Han Dynasty to Eastern Han Dynasty.JiaYi is the chief representative of the early part of west Han Dynasty.Their article has momentum,which is full of logic and rigidity appealed.The persons of later period of West Han Dynasty like to chase citations and advocate elegant.The Memorials to the throne of early stage of the Eastern Han Dynasty focus on homeland security and system recovery development this two big issues.The second chapter discusses the contents of the memorials from HanHeDi to HanShunDi.The memorials of this period includes the current affairs,the ethnic issue,the cultural construction and expressing thanks.Besides,there are some female writer's like BanZhao and LiangYi who created great works.The third chapter discusses the contents of the memorials from HanHuanDi toHanLingDi.This period is the collapse of the Eastern Han Dynasty.The memorials' style type was relatively reducing during this period.The memorials of this period includes impeaching eunuch,the current affairs,recommend and expressing personal feelings.The main authors of this period concludes DouWu,ZhuMu,YangBing,ChenFan,LiuTao,Cai Yong and so on.Most of these works have directly narrative,bones and generous.The forth chapter discusses the contents of the memorials during the epoch of HanXianDi.The emperor had lost the state sovereignty.There are three main group to create memorials.According to the author's group characteristics to analysis their works in this paper.The fifth chapter discusses the literary characteristic of Eastern Han Dynasty 'memorials to the throne.To summarize the memorials' writing style.After this,make a conclusion about the main forms of art and to analysis the factors which affected the creation of the memorials.Finally,the appendix part organizes the existing contents and chronological of the memorials of The mid-and late Eastern Han Dynasty.
