Hemingway's Biography In China

Ernest Hemingway,(1899-1961),one of the most important American novelists in the world literature.In 1954,Ernest Hemingway won the Nobel prize for literature,and for several years in the "most popular literature prize winner" in the ranking of the top.Hemingway’s literary works are full of passion,skillfully combined with his legendary experience,so that readers are curious about the creators behind the works.In 1960 s,various versions of the Ernest Hemingway biography published in the United States,and it was not until 1970 s that the first translated version appeared in China due to differences in the country and other reasons.Up to now,there are97 versions of Hemingway’s biography in China,of which there are about 25 translations,and there are about 72 versions of the creation.The number of versions is rare in our country’s biography literature,which is the reason of writing this paper.This paper mainly explains the spread of Hemingway’s biography in China from the following aspects.The introduction part mainly introduces the reason of writing this article.First of all,Hemingway as a famous literary giant,his literature achievement has great impact.Secondly,the study of Hemingway is a hot topic in Chinese academic circles.Finally,the research status of Hemingway’s biography in China provides this paper research materials and creative space.The body part arrange the spread of Hemingway’s biography in China on the basis of Hemingway’s biographical catalog of National Library.The biography of Hemingway sort out the spread in our country from two aspects of translation and creation version.According to the version of the content changes,trying to reflect on the biography of Hemingway in China.This paper attempts to reflect on the spread of Hemingway’s biography in China from the aspects of ideology,literary criticism and reading expectation.The first chapter:The translation version of Hemingway’s biography in China.In the four time period(1980s,1990 s,first decade of 21 st century,since 2010)according to the current data,arranging 25 translation version of Hemingway’s biography in China which Chinese scholars translated,and makes a brief introduction to some versions of the content.The second chapter:The creation version of Hemingway’s biography in China.In the four time period(1980s,1990 s,first decade of 21 st century,since 2010)according to the current data,there are 72 creation version of biography of Hemingway which Chinese scholars created independently,and make a brief introduction on the part of the content.The third chapter : Reflection on the biography of Hemingway in China.The paper briefly summarizes the contents of Hemingway’s biography in China.From the three aspects of the social acceptance context,the context of literary criticism and the reader’s expectation of reading,to make a reflection on the spread of Hemingway’s biography in China.Starting from the guiding ideology,Hemingway biography in the Chinese heroes from the beginning is not a position with China’s political opposition figures,but a collectivist,and an anti fascist justice.From the angle of literary criticism,Hemingway biography in the Chinese heroes image from the anti fascist heroes to the fearless guy,to gender "phallus male centralism",with "tragic consciousness" pessimist.From the multi angle reading expectation view,not only to create a dynamic and inspirational idol for young people,but also to meet the public’s curiosity,and to enrich the study of Hemingway academic historical facts.The summary part is the overall review of the paper.Firstly,text study on the version of Hemingway biography in China.Interpreting from the artistic,novel,short and pithy form and other aspects.Secondly,explaining the unique significance of Hemingway’s biography research to the study of Hemingway.
