The concept "Ya" originates in pre-Qin Confucian music theory, on behalf of the Chinese orthodox culture. "Yazheng", in the specific period, is the measure to correct the defect and to improve the style of Ci. It is not only a conscious recognition of the unique of Ci, but also reflects to the common value of the traditional writers under the influence of poem education - the meaning is elegant and the diction is beautiful. As a core concept of ancient Chinese aesthetics,"Yazheng" is also a subject of overseas Chinese study. Therefore it produces a related translation work, the corresponding concepts in English and German: elegant, refined, grace, schon, Grazie,Anmuth and so on. Through semantic analysis, we find that there exists the rationality and irrationality in different levels of translation. After one by one analysis and exclusion, we find grace (Anmuth) to correspond to "Yazheng" cause its larger feasibility and meaning of comparison. However, the differences of cultural backgrounds between Chinese and Western have fundamentally led to the impossibility of translation. This leads to the contradiction between incommensurability and coercion. In fact, the process of forced covenant indeed reflects the formal characteristics and the kernel spirit of the concept, through which we can see the common psychological and emotional needs of China and the West.
