On The Ethical Narrative In Zong Pu's Novels

In Chinese contemporary literary world,Zong Pu is a unique existence.Since on literary circles,she has been working in the field of literature and adhering to the creative pursuit of "honesty" and "elegant",showing the unique spirit of "orchid and jade".On the one hand,living in Tsinghua Park and Yannan Garden which Celebrities and scholars coming forth in large numbers,favored by the impregnation of Chinese traditional culture,her literary writing conveys a unique literati temperament.On the other hand,Zong Pu graduated from Tsinghua's foreign language department and she was engaged in the research of foreign literature for many years after graduation,influenced by the trend of western modernist literature,she consciously drew lessons from western modernist techniques in novel creation,showing the artistic spirit of unremitting exploration and innovation,thus forming a unique style of deep cultivation and integrating Chinese and Western arts.From the perspective of Zong Pu's novel creation,in the deep structure of her various theme narrative exists the layer of "ethical narration" implicitly or explicitly and mainly embodies as "history,family,gender,life"--the narrative direction of four-dimensional ethical relationship.This paper starts with the four-dimensional ethical relationship,hoping to be able to grasp the implicit or explicit ethical narration in Zong Pu's novel,thus forming a more comprehensive and stereoscopic understanding of Zong Pu's literary creation and broadening the research vision of Zong Pu's novel.We can also take a look at the process of modernization of Chinese traditional ethics and the changes of contemporary social ethics.This thesis mainly consists of three parts: introduction,text and epilogue.The introduction illustrated topic significance,showed Zong Pu's position in the contemporary literary circles and the present research situation related to this topic,explained the thesis' research purpose and methods.Based on ethic narration,the text put Zong Pu's novel creation as the main research object,explored the inner and deep theme of Zong Pu's novel.The text is divided into four chapters: the first chapter study Zong Pu's novel narrative from the perspective of historical ethics,revealed the relation between individual life,daily life and history,expounded the author's attitude towards history;the second chapter analyzed the family ethical narration in Zong Pu's novel,delved into the three ethical relations: couple,parent-child and brotherhood;the third chapter study Zong Pu's novel narrative from the perspective of gender ethics,analyzed the various forms of gender relations and the author's re-examination and reflection of the relationship;the fourth chapter explored the characteristics of the life world and life activities in Zong Pu's novel from the perspective of bioethics,mining the intrinsic value and aesthetic significance of life.The epilogue evaluated Zong Pu and her novel creation on the whole,expounded the significance and value of the study of ethical narration in Zong Pu's novel.
