| In the early 1950 s,the Ministry of Culture of the People’s Republic of China promulgated the Directive on Rectifying and Strengthening the Work of the National Theater,and the professional singing and dancing groups throughout the county have been unprecedentedly developed.“From the central to the local and different characteristics of the singing and dancing groups are established,and gradually oriented the theater art.” With the troupe’s professional development,theater art construction in the second half in an unprecedented “golden age”.The rise of theater art has played a role in the field of dance works have emerged,and the dance art of various ethnic groups has also been active in the theater stage with “new”gestures.The Miao nationality dance,as a treasure of ethnic minority on singing and dancing art,raised from the folk square to the stage,achieved their own art transformation from the development of contemporary theater art,and enriched the construction and development of contemporary stage performing arts.This research study is based on the exploration practice of the stage arts by Jin Ou in the Miao nationality dance,it is not only because he is the famous Miao dance performing artist,but also because he is one of the earliest practitioners on exploration and creation of the Miao dance’s stage art.His contribution to the development of the dance language and action,and the reform and innovation in music,musical instruments and clothing,especially he suggested the inheritance and innovation of the stage art of the Lusheng dance in the following aspects: first,the “artistic” treatment on Lusheng dance’s action and skills of the language;second,the “artistic” improvement and debugging on the core accompaniment instrument Lusheng in the dance performance;third,the “artistic”innovation use on Lusheng dance performance;fourth,the “artistic” improvement of the costumes in the dance performance;fifth,the pursuit of the “artistic”stage art performance realm.His performance or the creation of the Miao dance works: “Lusheng Cockfighting Dance”,“Miao Youth Dance”,“Yearing”,“Festive Lusheng”,“Pursuit The Flower Belt”,“Miao dance” part in the large music and dance epic “The East Is Red”,etc.,successfully transformed rural Miao folk dance into the stage art.This paper consists of four chapters.The first chapter is entitled “Adaptation and Creation: From Folk Dance To Artistic Works”;the second chapter is entitled “Adaptation and Creation:Innovation on Language of Movements and Musical Instrument”;the third chapter is entitled “Adaptation and Creation: Pursuit of Performance Art and Stage Art”;the fourth chapter entitled “Adaptation and Creation: The Success Impact Factor of the Stage Art ”.“Adaptation” is a way of the national dance stage art creation;use tradition from the folk dance and the traditional dance as the prototype;use the faithful prototype as the principle;treat inherit the national dance tradition as the goal;use the function of the adapted work judge its characteristic;make the nature of the traditional aesthetic values of the ethnic groups as another way for pursuing the “creation” of the national dance stage art;to show the subjective will of the dancers as motives;not subject to the prototyping of national folk dance,but restrict by the core of national culture spirit;set the development of national dance tradition as the goal;make the traditional aesthetic values of ethnic groups and contemporary aesthetic fashion both as the pursuit.The innovation of this research lies in exploration and the study of the “Adaptation and Creation”,the two essential roles of the construction on ethnic dance’s stage art,and reveals the connection and difference between the folk dance and the stage art. |
