A Study Of Folk Fantasy Stories In Congjiang County, Guizhou Province

This thesis mainlyresearches fantasy folktales and the fantasy folktalesthat author collected in field investigation in the book of "Chinese Folktales Integration--Qiandongnan Prefecture Congjiang Volume" which was published in 1998.Researcher uses the methods of Motif research,Morphology of the Folktale and Cultural Anthropology to analyze the fantasy folktales of Congjiangcounty multi-dimensionally and summarize their internal features and cultural value.This thesis is composed of four chapters:The first part is a summary of the research object of this thesis.Firstly,researcher uses the method of local chronicles to describe objectively and introduce Congjiang county social environment,people's mode of production and folk customs.Then according to the results of the survey to narratethe collectionsituation of Congjiang county fantasy folktales,andaccording to the main motif plot make specific classification for folk fantasy stories in the region,showing the classification and layoutofCongjiang county fantasy folktales;The second part is an explorationof the fantasy feature of fantasy folktales in the text.Discussing from two aspects,one is to study the set of fantasy world in fantasy folktales,analyzing the wind and rain lightning,light and darkfantasynatural environment settings and the set of fantasy role of ghost,animal,evil spirit in order to understand the construction of Congjiang county folk fantasy world in fantasy folktales and feel the fantasy color in folktales.The other one is to analyze the typical narrative feature of fantasy folktales and their narrative value,and summarize the literature feature of Congjiang fantasy folktale;The third part is out of pure literature text analysis,combined with the specific area and realistic environment of fantasy folktales,exploring the regional social culture,local national identity and regional culture that behind the folktales from the concrete fairy tales' plot.
