Horqin Short-term Study On The Inheritance And Development Of Folk Songs

Horqin short-tune folk song has a very long history and rich content.As the fundamental element of Horqin traditional musical culture,the Horqin short-tune folk song possesses an essential role and impact to development of Mongolian musical culture.Horqin short-tune folk songs are deep,innermost and broad.It is apt to reflect the real life and praise beautiful things and,therefore,is very popular and widely sung among the people.This paper concentrates on innovation of horqin short-tune folk songs,and conduct a systematic research on how the horqin short tune folk songs are inherited,innovated and developed by artist in different period of time.The paper contains an "Introduction" section and three chapters:"Overview of horqin short-tune folk song","Characteristics of times and patterns of Horqin short-tune folk song",and "Present status of development and inhabitance of horqin short-tune folk songs".Introduction section defines the reason,the significance and method of the research subject.The research builds its foundation on musicology and ethnomusicology theories and methods,and learnt from experiences of Mongolian studies' theory and findings,as well as reference materials from other field.The first chapter provides an overview of horqin short-tune folk music.This chapter consist of the formation of Horqin tribe,the birth and development of horqin short-tune folk song,and the genre classification and color type of horqin short-tune folk song.The second chapter elaborates the characteristics of times and patterns of horqin short-tune folk song.The chapter focuses on two period of times,one is the characters of horqin short-tune folk songs before the founding of PRC and,another is for the period after the founding of PRC.The third chapter,being the essential part of the paper,introduces the innovation and development status of horqin short tune folk songs,focusing on how the artistic creation learn,innovate and develop from the horqin short-tune folk songs.The chapter consist of horqin short-tune folk songs' innovation and development in film music and horqin short-tune folk songs' innovation and development in large musical genre.
