Talking About The Narrative Art Of "life Flow" In Children's Novels

Occupying a place in the field of children's literature and sticking to explore diverse writing styles,MeiZihan has presented many outstanding literary works for Chinese children.Since the end of the twentieth century,his works have led Chinese contemporary children's literature to a new artistic field.After the publication of The Story of the Daughter,MeiZihan becomes famous and comes into public view.Form the in-depth research and analysis of the work,we can see clearly MeiZihan's stylistic awareness,his employment of modern artistic form and his constant breakthroughs in probing into writing forms of children's novels.The research also aims to reveal the profound influence of MeiZihan and The Story of the Daughteron children's fiction even the development of the contemporary literature.This paper is organized from three aspects.First of all,we state the significant narrative characteristics of MeiZihan's “life stream” by reviewing his literary writing courses and select his representative works in detail to explore their inherent artistic features.After entering in the new period,various kinds of narrative forms have mushroomed.Due to the influence of the development of the adult literature on children's literature,children's literature's own awakening and the successive innovations of children's literature writers,children's literature is directly or indirectly to promoted and maintains an overall sound development momentum.For this spectacle,on the basis of the research on adult literary narration,the paper summarizes various narrative forms of children's literature and explores in detail the application and development of the narrative forms of “life stream”.Second,we discuss the narrative art of The Story of the Daughter,a representative work of children's fiction in the new period,and explore the meaning of “life stream” to children's fiction creation.This novel presents children's common things and experiences in life that are seemingly lively,but are deeply full of adult thinking and sadness.It also brings out the narrative skills of the author,such as the transforming roles from time to time,having a dialogue with readers,or making a condescending look outside the box.On the other hand,simple and vivid language is adopted to sketch children's behaviors in daily life,which highlights the effectiveness of dialogue and observation.It is worth noticing that the story's hero has special identities: he is not only a writer or a father,but also the epitome of thousands ofChinese fathers.And besides a little girl,she is also the protagonist of the story and a representative of thousands of Chinese children.These narrative perspectives and narrative characters strengthen the authenticity of the story,allowing researchers to better explore the psychology of children.Finally,this children's fiction has attracted much attention not only in the children's literature field,but also in the adult literature field.It injects fresh blood to the contemporary literature and makes adults begin to pay close attention to the nature of children's literature and the adult word problems.The writing style of “Life stream”builds a bridge between art and life and transfers the source and course of life to works.When thinking about the development of contemporary children's literature,we are supposed to see from works not only the rising status of children's subjectivity in real life,but also the expressing ways and ultimate significance of such subjectivity.With the different ways of writing and narration,we can provide children with different reading space and different art style to enrich their growth as well as the forms of children's literature.
