Local chronicle is defined as a comprehensive record of a region,which is concerning geography,origin and development,customs,education,products,peoples,places of interest,poems and articles,also be praised as "all the side of history".Local chronicle is a kind of important culture resources.With the vigorous development of cultural industry in our country,local chronicle research has been gained more and more attention.The research work of old local chronicle has to be advanced with the times,which also is a form of protection of ancient books and an effective inheritance on traditional culture.Wushan is located in the east of Chongqing City,region culture is verystrong.According to the literature,there are several local chronicles in history of Wushan.Among them,the ducument completed in Yongzheng dynasty is the earliest one and very valuable.The version collected by Beijing normal university library is spreaded widely andpopularly.Using the scientific and rigorous philology research methods to mark and correct the punctuations in the full text,and collating the fallacy,annotating the difficult parts,it provides a great convenience to people to read and have higher practical value.Based on the work of large scale document sorting,a serious of researches was carried through.Firstly,hackled the clue of dissemination and development on Wushan local chronicle completed in various dynasties;found out the similarities and differences among different versions of Wushan local chronicle completed in Yongzheng dynasty;analyzed the style of writing characteristic;and formed a comprehensive research information.Secondly,Wushan local chronicle completed in Yongzheng dynasty is of great value to us.The value comes from four conenoses:Historical value,it recorded Wushan’ s historical cultures synthetically,and is highly credible;Academic value,it completed earlier,and has been an important reference for later documents;Cultural industry value,it contains rich regional culture information;Social value,it recorded a large number of outstanding figures,which could be serviced for Wushan spiritual civilization construction.Thirdly,on the basis of realization on the value of Wushan local chronicle completed in Yongzheng dynasty,application research would be conducted to the old Local Chronicles in Wushan country and put forward specific development strategy.Especially,to establish an effective mechanism and moderate industrial management of local chronicle;to train professional personnel in local chronicles and pay attention to the introduction and training of practical talents;to strengthen the research development of Wushan local chronicle and develop multi-channel and multi-form cultural products.
