Frankfurt School's Critical Theory Of Popular Culture And Contemporary Enlightenment

Mass culture critical theory is an important part of social criticism theory,the western critical theory of mass culture of contemporary mass culture research laid the theoretical foundation of important,particularly the industrial culture theory,but also expounds a series of shortcomings of popular culture.With the incoming and development of mass culture,the domestic scholars began to large-scale study theory of mass culture and how to use in China.But,for now,mass culture critical theory because of the lack of the dialectical attitude,is considered by scholars generally have limitations,therefore,treat mass culture critical theory based on the above analysis,we should reflect on again,to promote the research and development of culture construction in China.Based on the mass culture critical theory as the research object,using literature research,macro and micro method and multidisciplinary approach to carry out the research,according to the theory of mass culture criticism for reference for the study of the main line to the development of contemporary cultural construction.This paper focuses on combing the theoretical study of the popular culture at home and abroad,think the current mass culture critical theory research enlightenment to cultural construction in our country is relatively weak;Secondly,this paper expounds the western critical theory of mass culture background and theoretical source;Third,the article discusses the main content of the mass culture critical theory and its evaluation.Finally,the article gives the mass culture critical theory of culture construction in China.
