Research On The Current Status Of New Media Art Collections

In the era of globalization,with the development of the network and technology,the media of artistic creation is constantly expanding,from traditional painting to interdisciplinary new media art,a variety of media forms of art works have been gradually accepted and spread.Among them,the western new media represented first by the pioneer gallery owner’s attention and then gradually enter the market.Since 70s and 80s,the new media art has become an indispensable branch of the western art collection.By 90s,starting with the early video art,Chinese new media art also produced many problems related to collection field.
