A Study Of The Basic Level Category Vocabulary Of Modern Chinese Head Movements

People understand things from the most basic and most basic level of basic categories began,the basic level of the domain of words is to express the basic level of the vocabulary.At present,the theoretical research on the basic level of the country is not enough,and the application in modern Chinese is very few.It is a new and feasible way to study modern Chinese vocabulary with basic level category theory.Based on the modern Chinese head action vocabulary use frequency is high,representative of the characteristics of strong.In this paper,614 head action vocabulary of Su Xinchun "Modern Chinese Classification Dictionary" is used as the original corpus,and the corpus of "Modern Chinese Classification Dictionary","Modern Chinese Dictionary"(6th Edition),"Descending Modern Chinese Dictionary" Of the card,through the establishment of extraction standards,the questionnaire survey to verify a total of 20 head action to extract the basic words.After extracting 20 basic words,this article has carried on the detailed analysis to these basic words.The basic characteristics of the basic action of the head is based on monosyllabic and monotonic base word.As far as the meaning of the 20 head movements,the grassroots words show different meanings.In the metaphorical analysis of the grass-roots words,we focus on the metaphorical model of the grass-roots word and image icon.Through the study of the important grass-roots words such as "see","listening" and "eating",we find that the extension and development of the meaning are almost always from the beginning to the basic,specific biological activities to the abstract intelligence,spiritual activity.Aspects of development,which also shows that language has a common cognitive.The head of the base word related to the five images of the icon:from top to bottom metaphorical type,from bottom to top metaphorical type,from outside to inside metaphorical type,from inside to outside metaphor type and special metaphor type.Through the use of these images,the application of grass-roots words and people’s cognitive range has been a new expansion.
