In The Opera "Red River Valley", Dan Zhu's Aria "I Am The Daughter Of The First Person" Has The Musical Characteristics And Singing Experience

Red River Valley is one of the few Chinese national operas that are composed in the background of culture of minorities.It inherits and promots the outstanding features of Chinese national operas and integrates in the creative techniques of western operas.I am the Daughter of a Tribal Chief is a typical piece of song in Red River Valley.In this thesis,the author analyzes the way of performance of I am the Daughter of a Tribal Chief in following aspects with the reference to the experience of the author:First of all,the author gives a brief introduction of the story of Red River Valley and historical background of creation of the work;then the author analyzes the performance in terms of the musical image,lyrics and way of singing;lastly,the author discusses the experience of singing I am the Daughter of a Tribal Chief in the aspects of techniques of signing,knowledge of musical image and helps to learning of vocal music of singing operas.The author came to understand the importance of opera in the practice of singing.The meaning of learning the art of opera should never be restrained to improvement of musical artistic appreciation,singing techniques and stage performance.The meaning of learning the art of opera also stands on its great help to development and improvement of comprehensive artistic appreciation.
