| The translator selects the eleventh and twelfth chapter of Manchuria Cradle of Conflict to translate.The two chapters mainly introduce the development of Manchuria’s urban and rural sectors and the Manchuria`s place in the world during the Republic of China.The text covers the aspects of Manchurian political,economic,diplomatic,historical,cultural and militaristic.It is marked by a great number of terms and long difficult sentences with complex structure.The translator expects to accumulate more experience and references of translating the historical and cultural text through the practice,to help the translator to stand in the perspective of foreign scholars to understand,and to think about Chinese culture,to promote exchanges and cooperations between Chinese and Western cultures. |
