With the development of globalization,the probability of collision in different cultures becomes more and more frequent.as the famous scholar Huntington thinks that,in the next century,the clash of civilizations will become the main form of various conflicts.Finding the right position in the fierce competition of civilization is a key to the Chinese civilization with 5000 years of civilization.Festival culture is an important carrier of Chinese civilization,the research on it has been continuously concerned including the government officials and cultural scholars.The change and development of festival culture reflects the past,present and future of Chinese traditional culture and embodies the complex relationship between Chinese culture and world culture.Correctly understanding festival culture and finding the inherent logic of holiday operation,which is the structure and operation mechanism of Festival,is conducive for comprehensive understanding of the festival as well as is also conducive to the rational treatment of traditional and contemporary festival which can effectively develop excellent elements of Chinese culture and helps us to correctly treat foreign culture which will be beneficial to absorb foreign advanced culture to enrich ourselves.In order to achieve this goal,the imagination of divorcing from reality is of no avail,therefore,the author obtain a lot of valuable experience materials through extensive literature review and in-depth field research and through the inductive analysis for these materials with the theory of predecessors.The author successfully find an answer to solve the problem in the end.This paper is divided into five parts,as follows:The first part is introduction.This part mainly introduces the background and significance of the study,the present situation and the main problems,and focuses on the research methods and innovations of the paper in the study.The second part introduces the village and festival.First of all the author introduces the history and present situation of the village from two aspects: natural and social history.Then,the paper summarizes the nearly all the festivals in the village,which is summarized by the field data,and shows the history and present situation of the festival in the past hundred years.The third part through theoretical deduction with rigorous analysis of the evolution and reality of holiday of You Wei concludes the structure of festivals,and prove that it is a holiday constituted by four elements: festival situation,festival subject,festival norm and holiday needsIn the fourth part,through the analysis of the relationship between the elements in the festival structure,we can find out the relationship and specific operating mechanism between the various elements of the festival of You Wei village.Then,we will analyze the structure of the typical festival in the village,and demonstrate the overall operating mechanism of the festival.The fifth part is the conclusion.The conclusion of this paper that structure and operation mechanism of the festival is obtained through summarizing the full text.
