The thesis is one of the series of studies on Mongolian Modern Literature in China.It mainly investigates the spread of Mongolian modern literature and its status of having been studied in China during the years of 1991-2000,as well as its influence on Chinese Mongolian literature.The thesis includes introduction,body,conclusion,reference and appendix.The introduction states the spread of Mongolian modern literature and its research status,and also briefly discusses the research topic,materials,aims and methods.Chapter 1 studies the characteristics of Mongolian modern literature having been spread in China during 1991-2000,and discusses the reports about Mongolian writers,their publications,and some of their works which have been selected in Mongolian schoolbooks.It also investigates the publishing agencies and communities that write and translate Mongolian literatures.Previous studies are mostly focused on a specific writer,such as Borjgin Dashdorjin Natsagdorji and Ryenchinii Choinom,little has been reported on the research of a particular piece of Mongolian modern literature.Chapter 2 generally discusses the study of Mongolian literature works in China,which were written by Mongolian writers.Besides the traditional literature research method,relatively new comparative literature research method,which is complementary to the traditional method,can also be found in Mongolian literary criticism.Chapter 3 discusses the influence of Mongolian literature on Chinese Mongolian literary creation from the perspective of comparative literature.Imitation and plagiarism also emerged during the process.The appendix lists the publications and the directory indexes of Mongolian modern literature in China,as well as the directory indexes of research papers on Mongolian modern literature and some interviews.
