Folk songs are the crystallization of working people's wisdom and the gorgeous treasure of the Chinese nation's long history and culture, which are the emotional expression of people's production and life in the heart. Shanxi folk song has a long history for thousands of years of development which named "the ocean of folk songs". Shanxi folk song-this non-material cultural heritage has gradually confronted a serious transmission crisis cause the transformation of the original environment with the development of the times. The TV series "The River And Wind Song" is China's first non-material cultural heritage protection music drama which is jointly produced by the Department of Culture and Propaganda Department of Shanxi Province in 2010, there are more than 40 Shanxi folk songs interspersed into the TV series which gave the audiences a visual and auditory feast, so that Shanxi folk song is once again pushed to the center of the historical stage after a long silence. In this paper, the author start from the origin, development, current situation of Shanxi folk song to classify and sort the Shanxi folk songs which are interspersed into the TV series "The River And Wind Song", and then explore the singing practice of the specific song. The full text is divided into four chapters, the main contents are as follows:The first chapter expounds the research background, research significance, research status, research objectives and research content of the singing practice of the Shanxi folk songs which are interspersed into the TV series "The River And Wind Song". And making a brief analysis of the characteristics and innovation of this study.The second chapter mainly summarizes the development and artistic characteristics of Shanxi folk song. The paper starts from the development course and current situation of the development of Shanxi folk song, through sorting the lyrics characteristics, genre characteristics, subject characteristics of Shanxi folk song, further analyzing the artistic features of Shanxi folk song, and making a brief summary from the two aspects of inheritance and innovation of Shanxi folk song.The third chapter mainly focuses on sorting and researching the object of this paper "The River And Wind Song". The author starts from creation backgrounds and the sketches of scenes of the TV series "The River And Wind Song" to quantify the folk songs and analyze the data. Ultimately classifying and sorting the genre and subject of the folk songs which are interspersed into the TV series.The fourth chapter mainly discusses the singing practice of three Shanxi folk songs which are interspersed into the TV series "The River And Wind Song". The author starts from several important appearance backgrounds of these three pieces of folk songs in the TV series:"peach blossom red, apricot blossom white", "pro Ge Dan down the river to wash clothes", "go westward" to explore the singing practice of the music melody, lyrics, emotion, breath, embellish cavity of these three pieces of folk songs, and complete this thesis ultimately.Shanxi folk song is the treasure of Chinese culture, it is also one of the most important historical and cultural information in five thousand years of Chinese civilization, it is not just the inheritance and development of a plain vivid folk song, but also the five thousand years of traditional values and national spirits of our Chinese nation.
