From the perspective of the word origin, "Li" means the jade craftsman to carve thread according to the texture of the jade itself. The Chinese character "Li" in the process of evolution extends to two development direction,one is"cure" and the other is "texture" according to the word origin. Regard as "cure", it is a kind of will effort which can make things present bringing state. Regard as texture, it is a kind of cognitive ability for orderly objects, on the whole,the Chinese character "Li" presents persistent pursuit of orderly beauty although the extended meanings are not the same part of speech.The meaning of texture is at the core position of its semantic system, which is key of the word change from the ways of carving jade to the inherent laws of things. The Chinese character "Li" in the process of evolution has developed two core categories, one is "the principle of Taoism", the other is "the principle of heaven". In the philosophy context, the semantic representation of Taoism and "Li" is gradually becoming an accepted same meaning which explains the real cause and the inevitable result of things. The meaning of heavenly-principles is complex. On the one hand, it is the ontology of concept "Li" which is conceptual, invisible and inflexible. On the other hand, it is also a real "Li" which is visible,tangible and generated from the reciprocal human-object relationship. The principle of heaven is universal and reasonable, which can be seemed as " Tai Chi". Furthermore, the principle of heaven is the ultimate answer for the world and the necessarily unavoidable behavior rule of life. In the end, the principle of heaven is innate human nature that is different from the humanity of temperament which can lead to human desires. The significance of the final confirmation of heavenly-principles is to seek the cause in yourself and probe the principle in your heart.The meaning of Chinese characters ""Li"" changes from "Processing jade"to "texture", from "the principle of Taoism" to "the principle of heaven", and eventually evolved into the signification"poor principle". The Chinese character "Li" in thelong process of evolution always adhere to the core meaning of character root which talks about the endless pursuit of order. In this foundation, the philosophical category "Li" establish many linkage with other categories contains "Taoism", "qi", " nature" and so on, which comes from "the principle of heaven", and eventually become "poor principle". During this process, individuals always accepts a unique way of inner thinking, they will be at ease and present a highly motivated and nearly unconscious state which can regard as saints aesthetic. Its essence is that objects are seeking for soul comfort in the process of awakening and internalizing of themselves, which can bring comfortable feeling without fear or shame.
