Xiao Hong And His Works Are Disseminated And Accepted Under The Perspective Of Popular Culture

Xiao Hong,an authoress in modern China and one of the "four talented women" in Republic of China,was honored as "Literary Nymph of the Luo River in the 1930s".Xiao Hong had a miserable fate and lived a legendary life.In her short-lived life,she has never given up the struggle against sufferings,always persisting in pursuing the free and ideal spiritual home.From the perspective of mass culture and communication,this paper performs an evaluation on the communication and acceptance of Xiao Hong and her works.Based on the different acceptable effects that Xiao Hong and her works created in different periods,this paper summarizes the communication situations of "Xiao Hong" in different periods,elaborates on the communication effects,and discusses the influence of communication media changes on communication effects.Such doing has revealed that the acceptance of literary works is not always unchanged,but comes as a result under the action of different factors in communication process.The case study on "Xiao Hong" strives to demonstrate the development rules of author's works in the literary communication process.In addition to Introduction and Conclusion,this paper consists of four parts.The first part straightens out Xiao Hong's creation process and expounds early communication of Xiao Hong's works.According to the categorization of Xiao Hong's three creation stages widely recognized in literary history,this part clarifies the creation state of Xiao Hong in every period and the types of her works,gives an overview of the contents in her representative works,generalizes the early communication process of her works,and analyzes the influence of the publications on Xiao Hong communication,such as newspaper-the mechanical printing medium.According to Xiao Hong's life experience,the second part emphatically analyzes the recent film works focusing on Xiao Hong's experience and arousing strong responses,with Xiao Hong's works communicated in the forms of adaptation and rearrangement taken as observed objects.Meanwhile,an analysis on Xiao Hong's important role in facilitating the communication and classic process of "Xiao Hong" communication is implemented,and how Xiao Hong and her works reveal the characteristics of mass culture in communication process is also elaborated.From the standpoint of communication and acceptance,the third part carries out a comprehensive analysis on audiences' different abilities to accept Xiao Hong in different periods.With the acceptance type literary criticism(research)seen as analytical object,this paper expounds acceptance of Xiao Hong's personal image and her works,emphatically exploring the influence of audience's feedbacks on Xiao Hong's communication process.The fourth part revolves around the pattern of literary communication in internet development.In the internet,Xiao Hong's communication appears in a new form and leads to new influence,which has helped to ascertain the opportunities and challenges that literary communication faces in network media environment.On the premise of retaining literary spirit,new continuation anddevelopment of literary works can only be realized when the past communication modes are changed by dint of new media.
