Ma Zonghuo's "Shu Linzao" And "Shu Lin Chronicle" Research

Shulin zaojian(????)and Shulin jishi(????)are regarded as the masterpieces of Ma Zonghuo,a famous scholar in China.Since its publication in 1935,they have received increasing academic attention.Based on many recently published works of literature,this thesis delves into Ma's personal detail on study and social intercourse.In addition,the styles of those two masterpieces and data sources are analyzed in great details,which ascertain Ma and his compositions'status in the history of calligraphy.The appendix aims to collate the text of Shulin zaojian.Hundreds of collating notes are collected here to correct many mistakes in the text.
