Chu tien-wen is one of the most influential writers in Taiwan in recent years.She broke into the literary world with bright and elegant brush.During the course of 40 years of novel writing,her aesthetic style was changing and becoming mature.The girl’s eyes and strokes eventually replaced by the "witch".The transformation of her creation also reflects the social development in Taiwan.Based on the evolution of aesthetic style,this paper tries to research chu tien-wen’s novel creation course comprehensively and carefully.The first part is mainly based on the formation of the early aesthetic style,to research Chu tien-wen’s youth novel creation.Her father Chu hsi-ning’s precept,the creation of enlightenment of Zhang ailing and Hu lancheng made Chu tien-wen influenced by the classical Chinese traditional culture.Her creation naturally revealed implicit elegant temperament.Due to the limited life experiences,the adolescent fictions were about her own experiences,therefore,this part researches from four perspectives which are love writing,village life and youth worries to analyze emotions,thoughts,romance and ideals in Chu tien-wen’s adolescent creation.The second part mainly studies Chu tien-wen’s novel creation in transformation period from the change of aesthetic style.As she walked out of the village and campus,Chu tien-wen began to have a further observe on reality.And then she entered the film industry.In the process of cooperation with hou hsiao-hsien,his stretches of serene aesthetic affected him deeply.Besides,the speeding up of urbanization makes Chu tien-wen started focusing on the real world.This part analyze Chu tien-wen’s aesthetic style during this period from the fate of mainlanders,the pain of second generation of military dependants’ village,society problems,and city’s vicissitudes of life.She jumped out of the semi-autobiographical limitations,from gazing at herself to staring at other people and times.The tone of creation has a certain breakthrough.The third part mainly studies Chu tien-wen’s aesthetic style and novel creation in the mature period of creation.In the wild man’s handbook and WuYan,chu tien-wen writed from the edge angle for her aesthetic practice.This section analyze from four angles which are the "negative ontology" narrative paradigm,the identity of the "wild man","wu" strategy of postmodern Taiwan and collage writing to discuss the influence of "negative ontology" aesthetic absorption on Chu tien-wen,and her aesthetic salvation of urban Taiwan.
