Huang Shaoxiang's Research On Historiography

Huang Shaoxiang(1915-2015)is a famous historian in China.She was one of the precursors who used the marx doctrine in the American history study.Her writings are rich and famous,which has great reputation in academic circle.However,the study about Huang Shaoxiang only stays at biography’s introduction and writings’ comments.Until today,there is no rounded academic research of her historical thought,and few scholars have made an intergrol summary and evalaution of her study of America history from the overall historical reaserch.The author attempts to make a whole exploration for Huang Shaoxiang’s historiography achievement and historical thinking to make a appropriate evalution and positioning for her through study of her experience and research.In a word,the author tries to provide a useful reference and inspiration for the contemporary academic research.This paper has six parts.“The introduction” makes a description to the background and research status.The first chapter“Huang Shaoxiang’s academic and academic achievement”separates Huang Shaoxiang’s academic career into three stages,then makes a full introduction to her academic experience and achievement.The second chapter“the historical thought and method of Huang Shaoxiang” summarizes her unique historical thoughts and research methods by analyzing her specific works.The third chapter“the academic debate with other schlors”introduces three academic debate’s background,content and influence.The fourth chapter“the evaluation and orientation of Huang Shaoxiang”bases on the analysis of the previous chapters,and makes an objective evaluation and orientation of Huang Shaoxiang and her historical studies.“Conclusion”makes a comprehensive summary of the full paper.
