| With the rapid development of the Olympic Games in the world, it has become the world's most watched, grandest sporting event. The host city of Olympic Games would become the focus of the world meanwhile the influences of holding Olympic Games become wider than ever in terms of the host city and country. Initially, no country was willing to invest on holding the Olympic Games. Then the Olympics began to bring economic benefits for the host city gradually. And now holding Olympic Games could bring positive effects to all realms of the host city. Generally speaking, holding Olympic Games has already become an effective mean to develop the economy, culture rapidly in the host country. The International Olympic Committee also began to notice this phenomenon. So they hold the opinions that Olympic legacy left by Olympic Games should be preserved and passed along. So in 2002, the International Olympic Committee held "Olympic legacy" seminar. In this meeting, legacies of Olympic Games from different realms had been summarized from 1984 to 2000. Since then, host country pays more attentions to the protection and the inherit of Olympic legacy.Our country was fortune enough to be the first country holding both Olympic Games and Youth Olympic Games. By bidding, organizing, hosting the Beijing Olympic Games and the Nanjing Youth Olympic Games our country accumulated a rich Olympic intangible cultural heritage. Facing this excellent opportunity, we have to do the good job of protecting the Olympic heritage intangible cultural heritage. Moreover, in the processes of passing along the Olympic legacies, we have to combined them with China's development and the current direction of social development, so that the Olympic Games intangible cultural heritage could be improved with the times. Making good jobs of transmission and innovation of intangible cultural heritage of the Olympic Games, not only conducive to the development of the Olympic movement itself, but also is conducive to the harmonious development of our society. Therefore, promoting socialism with Chinese characteristics and achieving the great objectives could be realized.Based on heritage science, government, new media technology, science Olympic cross theory and sustainable development theory, this paper analyzed the concept of the Olympic Games intangible cultural heritage, its contents and features while using the methods of literature reviews, experts interviews and case analyses. In addition, advices will be made in terms of Olympic and Youth Olympic heritage conservation and heritage, tradition and innovation for the intangible cultural heritage.This dissertation will distribute intangible cultural heritage of the Olympic legacy into political legacy, economic heritage, education, sports heritage, legacy thinking, mode of operation heritage, rituals and heritage create awareness of volunteer service, and the heritage of tradition and innovation by referencing the experiences of the Olympic Games and Youth Olympic Games. For these rich tradition and innovation Games intangible cultural heritage, three aspects should be mentioned: First, the Government, to do good evaluation of intangible cultural heritage of the Olympic Games, the establishment of the Olympic Games intangible cultural heritage of supervision and management departments, improve relevant laws and regulations, improve competitive sports and develop the relevant system of mass sports, school sports; in schools, the practical implementation of sunshine sports activities, the long development of the Olympic demonstration principal continues, while Olympic education and school physical education combined, Finally, we must also strengthen cultural awareness training for PE teachers; in the social aspect, we should actively organize mass sports activities and strengthen publicity activities and education activities.
