Zhang Chao's Piano Piece "In The Distant Place"

Zhang Zhao is one of China's new generation of musicians and composers, whose piano works are unique and outstanding among Chinese contemporary piano pieces, because of his rich experience in music creation, original music vision and distinguish creation personality with strong national characteristic and spirit of the time.Especially, the piano transcription “In the Distant Place”, which was created for 3rd BRICS summit in China, 2011, has given the masterpiece a new life and won audiences' love for it's reasonable and appropriate subject absorbing, unique expression technique and usage of Chinese and Western music language. The work combines Chinese national folk tone and traditional western composing techniques organically. And the artistic connotation contained in, reflects the composer's concepts of music creation and attitude, which is based on Chinese traditional music, using the combination of Chinese and Western techniques and popular music vocabulary to express the sincere feelings and music image.From the original music melody feature,adaptation tune the layout and theme expansion technique,the piano texture applied adn creative significance of four aspects of works of music analysis;subsequently emphatically of works were deeply playing skills analysis;finally that the works strongly reflects the music creative idea and attitude of Zhang Zhao that based on the traditional folk music of our country,“Chinese and Western and storege” and the “face the public”.
