The Presentation Of Self-consciousness——An Interpretation Of Yue Minjun's Painting Language

Born in the 1960s, YUE MINjun experienced Chinese dramatic and complex social changes through his life. Using the expressive painting language in the art field he profoundly excavated people's psychological influence underpins the rapid development in Chinese society.Although with mere decades of painting and drawing, YUE MINjun has played an essential role in morden Chinese oil painting. Morever,the auction of his paintings make records one by one. This thesis is apractical and tentative research. By the analysis of YUE MINJIN'Sthe composition and brushwork of pictures and the application of single color,this thesis card cards the Development course of his artworks This thesis studies how could he take the lead among Cynical art and continue to the preset by the symbol of'smile face'. Combined the writer's practical study,we can know about the advantages and disadvatages of YUE's style in modern art field,making research foundation for the afterwards spoof paintings. There are three parts in this thesis, the relationship between yue and Cynical art,his painting language and the writer's painting idea. This thesis hopes to be references for the related researchers by the sound introduction of yue and his creative painting style.
