| ObjectiveIn this study,we analyzed the demographic data of Professor Tong Xiaolin's outpatient clinic,and explored the demographic characteristics(gender,age,address,etc.)and information about visits(frequency of visits,visits,follow-up visits,follow-up visits)for the improvement of hypoglycemic brittle diabetes(BD)by Chinese medicine.Etc.,information on disease diagnosis(complications and comorbidities),test indicators(hypoglycaemia reaction frequency,HbA1c,FBG,2hPG,CHO,TG,Blood pressure,etc.),and study its core drugs and medication laws for improving hypoglycemic BD.Evaluate the clinical efficacy of TCM in improving hypoglycemic BD.Through the analysis and analysis of these data,Dr.Tong Xiaolin's clinical efficacy and medication experience in improving hypoglycemic BD were verified.MethodsPatients with hypoglycemic brittle diabetes were enrolled in the same medical records system with Professor Xiaolin.Using data mining methods,the scale-free complex network analysis method was used to mine the core medicines for the treatment of the disease,trend charts,non-parametric tests,etc.were used to study the efficacy of the relevant indicators,and the "t" test was used to compare the drug efficacy.Results(1)Basic information:This study included 49 cases of BD patients who were diagnosed in the same clinic of Professor Tong Xiaolin from 2005 to December 2017,with a total of 599 visits.There were 28 male patients and 21 female patients.The patient's age range is mainly concentrated in the 15-75-year-old group.Among 49 patients,5 were type 1 diabetes and 44 were type 2 diabetes.The most common diabetic complications are peripheral neuropathy,abnormal sweating,and diabetic nephropathy.The most common accompanying conditions were hypertension,hyperlipidemia,metabolic syndrome,obesity and fatty liver.The most common symptoms seen in patients with BD were frequent hypoglycemia reaction,fatigue,dizziness,dry mouth,and limb pain.(2)Efficacy evaluation:The main efficacy indicators,hypoglycaemia reaction frequency showed a significant decrease,with an average decrease of 1.11 beats/week(b/w),1.43b/w,1.19b/w,0.75b/w,1.42b/w after 3-month(m),5-m,7-m,8-m,18-m TCM treatment;The secondary efficacy indicators also showed a decreasing trend,HbA1c decreased with an average of 0.34%,0.48%after 2-m and 3-m treatment;fasting blood glucose and 2h postprandial blood glucose decrease significantly,with average decrease of 0.34mmol/L,1.49mmol/L after 2-m treatment;Blood pressure obviously decreased and blood lipid showed a overall downward trend.Besides,no exact hepatic and renal toxicity were found.(3)Syndromes and core medicines:Statistics on the patients' syndrome element and syndromes.The three most common syndrome elements of disease location were spleen,stomach,qi,and blood.The three most common syndrome elements of disease nature were heat,qi deficiency,and qi stagnation,followed by yin deficiency,dampness,depression,and blood stasis.The two most common types of syndromes are spleen deficiency with stomach heat syndrome,qi deficiency of middle Jiao.Through the method of scale-free backbone network analysis,the core medicines for brittle diabetes(spleen deficiency with stomach heat syndrome)were Huang Qin,Sheng Jiang,Zhi Mu,and the core medicines for brittle diabetes(qi deficiency of middle Jiao)were Huangqi,Zhishi,Baizhu.ConclusionBrittle diabetes is divided into hyperglycemic,hypoglycemic and mixed types.Hypoglycemic brittle diabetes includes two most typical types:Spleen Deficiency with Stomach Heat,Qi Deficiency of Middle Jiao.The core medicines for brittle diabetes(spleen deficiency with stomach heat)were Huang Qin,Sheng Jiang,Zhi Mu,and the core medicines for brittle diabetes(qi deficiency of middle Jiao)were Huangqi,Zhishi,Baizhu..Traditional Chinese medicine can effectively reduce the frequency of hypoglycemia reaction and improve the relevant test indicators such as glycated hemoglobin.fasting blood glucose,and blood pressure at the same time. |
