Design And Synthesis Of 1,3-benzodioxan Compounds And Anti-epileptic Effects

Epilepsy is a kind of brain functional disorder diseases because of abnormal discharge,whose global incidence was 0.6% ~ 1.1% and influence health of human beings obviously.In our country,there are more than ten million epilepsy patients and the annual additional number was 4000 thousands.Although many other kinds of antiepileptic drugs(AEDs)were used for the treatment of epilepsy disease in the past few decades,there are still 20%-30% of patientsof epilepsy had no effective antiepileptic drugs.So,the research and development of new antiepileptic drug is extremely urgent.This paper designed and synthesized a series of 5-substituted benzo[d][1,3]dioxole derivatives as potent anticonvulsant agents according to 3,4-dihydroxybenzaldehyde,which includedthe process of Knoevenagel,condensation,replace reaction and so on.The targets compounds were screening from the MES,sc PTZ,NT tests and evaluated through the values of ED50,TD50 and PI.Those researches have an important effect of the development of new antiepileptic drugs.
