Objective:Retrospective analysis of part epidemiological distribution characteristics of patients with brittle fracture of hip.Methods:1344 cases of hip fracture's basic information were collected from 10 hospitals in Kunming of Yunnan province, who were hospitalised in 2013.Of all hip fractures,858 were brittle hip fractures, accounting for 63.8%.To collect the basic information of patients with brittle fracture of hip, including gender, age, fracture site, treatment methods, surgical methods, length of stay, hospitalization expenses, basic diseases and complications during hospitalization.Results:?430 patients were followed up effectively,149 cases male, accounting for 34.7%,281 cases female, accounting for 65.3%,the ratio of women and men is 1.88:1,female were more than male, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The 70 to 89 years old accounted for 81.63%,is the largest number of brittle hip fractures, femoral neck fracture of femur was significantly less than intertrochanteric fracture, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant correlation between gender and fracture site(P>0.05).There was no significant correlation between age and fracture site(P>0.05).?The way of operation, the existence of basic diseases, the lever of hospital has no effect on the hospitalization time(P>0.05).The way of treatment and complications increase the hospitalization time,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant.?The mode of operation, the existence of basic disease had no effect on the hospitalization expenses(P>0.05).Operation,had complications during hospitalization and chose the top three hospitals may increase cost of hospitalization,,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:?70?89 year old is a predilection age for brittle fracture of the hip,The number of woman with hip brittle fracture were significantly more than men.and the femoral intertrochanteric fractures were more in the hip.Preventing falls is an important link to prevent brittle fracture of hip.?The choice of surgical treatment and complications may be the cause of prolonged hospitalization and increased hospital costs. Objective:To investigate the mortality, limb pain and self-care ability of the patients with fragile hip fracture 3 years after fracture, and to explore the possible influencing factors. Methods:Telephone follow-up was conducted to collect the patient's mortality(death time and the cause of death),the treatment of osteoporosis after fracture, functional recovery after 3 years of fractures and pain related data, then analysis. Results:?The total number of death after 3 years brittle hip fractures was about 164,and the mortality rate was about 17.44%in the half after fracture, and the mortality rate was about 25.35%in the first year after fracture, and the mortality rate was about 31.46%in the second year after fracture, and the mortality rate was about 36.74%in the third year after fracture. The direct causes of death were cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events, pulmonary infection, multiple organ failure and other diseases.Age,treatment, fracture site, and the treatment of osteoporosis after fracture were the main factors of death.?The age, basic diseases and complications are the factors of after 3 years if there is pain in affected limb,P<0.05.Age,complications and treatment of osteoporosis after fracture affect the recovery function after 3 years of fracture,P<0.05.Conclusion:?The mortality rate of hip fracture was high, attention should be paid to the treatment of basic diseases in patients with brittle fracture of hip.Age,fracture site, treatment modalities, and treatment of osteoporosis after fracture may be the cause of the risk of death.? Age,basic disease and complications may be the influencing factors of pain after brittle fracture of hip.Age,complications, and whether or not they are treated with osteoporosis may affect the self-care ability after brittle fracture of the hip.
