Study On The Chemical Constituents Of The Sorrel Model (Batian Sorrel)

Radix Rumicis include the roots of Rumex acetosa L.and R.crispus L.and R.patentia L.It is widely distributed the north of the yangtze River and the resources are very rich.With the purp-ose of looking for Radix Rumicis(Rumex patientia L),s activity in gredient of anxiolytic effect and proveding its mechanism,we carri-es out the Rumex patientia L trough isolation and identification.To study the chemical constituents in the overground part of Rumex patientia L.,a common used traditional Chinese medicinal materials iorder to give supports to the exploitation of this medicine indeepth.After crushing the overground part of Rumex patientia L.coll-ected from the Gansu,It was extracted by 95%ethanol water three times.The extracts was concentrated by a vacuum evaporator into a gross extract and was dissolved in fitting water,after that it was extracted by petroleumether?ethyl acetate?normal butanol.Then the part extracted by ethyl acetate was separated and purified by Silica gel?Sephadex LH-20?RP-18?MCI gel and preparative liquid chromatography.Finally the structures of the compounds were iden tified through the methods of physical and chemical inspection and spectral techniques such as UV?IR?1H-NMR?13C-NMR?DEPT?HMBC?HSQC?NOSEY?MS and so on.21 compounds were isola-ted from the root of Rumex patientita L.and 15 of them were ide-ntified by the spectral method,five compounds was new.7 of them were obtained by the first time.The types of these compounds include flavonoid,naphthalenes,lignans,benzen derivates,Anthr-aquinones and so on.They are:3-Dihydroxyethyl-1,5-Dihydroxy-4-Carbonyl-2,3-epoxynaphthoquinol;6-Dihydroxyethyl-1,5-Dihydroxy-4-Carbonyl-7-Methyl Naphthalene;6-Dihydroxyethyl-2,5-Dihydroxy-4-Carbonyl-7-Methyl Naphthalene;3-Dihydroxyethyl-2-Methyl-1,5-Dihydroxy-4-Carbony-7-oxygenbased-2,3-epoxy naphthoquinol;1,7-Di hydroxy-2-Methyl-3-Propenyl-4-Carbonyl Naphthalene;8-O-?-D-gluc-opyranosyl-6-demethoxy torachrysone;Hastatuside B;8-O-?-D-gluco-pyranosyl torachrysone;tranisoshinanolone;5-Dihydr-oxy-2-methylte-tralone,;1,3,6-OH-8-Methylanthraquinone;3-Acetyl-2-met-hyl-1,4,5-trihydroxy-2,3-epoxynaphthoquinol;3-acetyl-2-methyl-1,5-dihy-droxy-2,3-epoxynaphthoquinol;5-dimethyl-7-hydroxychromone;(E)-5,5'-(3-(hydroxymethyl)but-1-ene-1,4-diyl)bis(2-methoxyphenol).
