| Objective:Radix Polygoni Mulfiflori is the tuberous root of Polygonum multiflorum Thunb.,which is one of the most popular traditional Chinese medicines.This paper has summarized the studies on the chemical constituents and the pharmacological activities of Polygonum multiflorum Thunb.in recent years,and has found that,the antidiabetic chemical constituents of Polygonum multiflorum Thunb.are not clear.So this paper studied the chemical constituents of Polygonum multiflorum Thunb.55%ethanol fraction,and tried to find anti-diabetic effective constituents.Methods:The chemical constituents of Polygonum multiflorum Thunb.were isolat ed and purified by various chromatographic techniques such as macroporous adsorbent resin(DM-8)?gel chromatography?silica chromatography and other modern separation methods,and the structures were identified by spectral analyses,using spectroscopic tech niques and the isolated compounds were screened for activity.Results:Twenty-seven compounds were isolated and identified from Polygonum m ultiflorum Thunb.as Thunberginol C 6-O-?-D-glucopyranoside(1),2,3,5,4'-tetrahydroxy-stilbene-2-O-?-L-rhamnoside(2),p-Hydroxybenzaldehyde(3),Trans-N-caffeoyltyramine(4),pieceid-2"-O-gallate(5),2,3,5,4'-tetrahydroxystilbene-2-O-(3"-galloyl)-?-D-glucoside(6),Torachrysone-8-O-?-D-glucoside(7),6-hydroxymusizin-8-O-?-D-glucoside(8),2,3,5,4'-tetrahydroxystilbene-2-O-(2"-p-hydroxybenzoyl)-?-D-glucoside(9),2,3,5,4'-tetrahydroxy stilbene-2-O-(2"-galloyl)-?-D-glucoside(10),trans-2,3,5,4'-tetrahydroxy-stilbene-2-O-?-D-glucoside(11),cis-2,3,5,4'-tetrahydroxy-stilbene-2-O-?-D-glucoside(12),Tricin-6-O-?-D-glucoside(13),emodin-8-O-?-D-glucoside(14),N-traps-feruloyl tyramine(15),N-trans-feruloyl-3-methyldopamine(16),quercetin(17),Tricin(18),2,3,5,4-tetrahydroxystilbene-2,3-di-O-?-D-glucoside(19),(+)-catechin(20),(+)-epicatechin(21),rhaponticin(22),ci s-emodin bianthrones(23),trans-emodin bianthrones(24),reveratrol(25),piceid(26),Torachrysone-8-O-(6'-O-acetyl)-?-D-glucopyranoside(27).Conclusion:2 compounds(1-2)are new compounds,compounds 4,5,13,27 were isolated from Polygonum multiflorum Thunb.for the first time.Screening for anti-diabetic effective fraction in Polygonum multiflorum Thunb.,the results showed that the 55%ethanol fraction had anti-diabetic effective,compounds 6?9?10?23 and 24 sho wed anti-diabetic effective. |
