Jiawei Yueqi Pill In The Treatment Of Impaired Glucose Regulation (qi Stagnation And Stagnation Syndrome) Clinical Study

Purpose:To observe the Clinical Efficacy and Safety in treating of impaired glucose regulation with bringing up pills, and to investigate the effect on serum CRP, Ig-E levels.Methods:50 outpatients and inpatients with IGR were selected from the Affiliated Hospital of Hunan Province Chinese Medicine Research Institute, 50 patients were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group, 25 patients each group. With the same basic treatment, the treatment group applied with bringing up pills, the control group applied with Metformin, and then continued for one month. The fasting and 2-hour postprandial blood glucose, blood lipids, CRP, Ig-E and TCM syndrome of each group were graded and quantified pre and post treatment to evaluate clinical efficacy.Results:(1) The fasting and 2-hour postprandial blood glucose improvement: the effective rate of each groups were 92%, and the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant(P> 0.05);(2) TCM syndrome improvement: the effective rate of treatment group was 92%, and control group was 64%, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05);(3) Adjust blood lipids level: the levels of blood lipids of both groups were decreased efficiently, but the blood lipids level of treatment group was much better obviously, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05);(4) Inhibition of serum CRP, Ig-E level: The serum CRP, Ig-E level of both groups were decreased, and the difference within each groups was statistically significant(P<0.05), the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05 or P<0.01);(5) Safety in treatment: Pre and post treatment electrolytes and liver function test result showed no significant changes, and no serious adverse reaction, difference between the two groups and within groups were not statistically significant(P>0.05), it shows that both drugs have a good safety.Conclusion: Bringing up pills has exact curative effect on impaired glucose regulation,and with good safety, can effectively regulate the lipid metabolism, decrease serum CRP, Ig-E levels, so it is worthy of further research and clinical use.
